Ask the Experts: Is iPhone's Siri to Blame for the Increase in Data Usage?

Following the recent release of an industry study on mobile data usage trends, Siri – the virtual personal assistant from Apple - their revolutionary feature of the 4S has been in the hot seat, taking the blame for the rapid increase in data demand and usage.

The research study: ‘Recent Smartphone Trends & the Extreme Data User’ was conducted by the network management company, Arieso, who compared the past years data usage of various smartphone’s and connected devices such as iPads and other tablets throughout the industry.

Their findings identified a new winner at the top spot of the ‘data guzzler’ charts.
